Saturday Social Club
Saturday club is all about participation and enjoyment for players aged from 7 upwards
This club is based at Bishop Perowne C E College, Merrimans Hill, Worcester WR3 8LE on Saturday mornings for two hours. It is a relaxed friendly environment where you can pay and play at your leisure.
All abilities are welcome from beginners to those who may have played previously and want to get back into a fun game. We have a number of short and standard racquets available so that you can try out the game without having to buy your own and we play with plastic shuttles. We recommend you bring your own drinks and ask that you have CLEAN indoor shoes.
One court for the first hour is for juniors. The other 3 courts are used to offer fitness and informal skills improvement to enable all players to enjoy the game. Parents can play if they would like to or watch - but all juniors under 16 must have an adult with them to comply with our protection policy. PLEASE BRING THE CORRECT MONEY.
Juniors can progress by invitation to join in with the general play enabling them to become comfortable playing with adults and mixing in with doubles games.
The general play session mixes all the players for doubles games so you will get the opportunity to play with a variety of people at different levels.
